The prices of gold have experienced a significant rise in both global and local markets. Increasing gold purchase contracts globally have led the price of gold to reach its highest level in history, continuing to impact local bullion markets.

On the international front, the price of gold surged by an additional $16 per ounce, reaching a new all-time high of $2815.

This increase has had a direct effect on local markets, where on Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs1900, reaching a new record level of Rs294,300.

Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams increased by Rs1629, reaching a new high of Rs252,314.

In addition, the price of silver also saw a rise, with the price of per tola silver increasing by Rs49, reaching Rs3314, while the price of silver per 10 grams rose by Rs42, reaching Rs2841.
